One of the keys to success is proper use of technology. For most of us "proper use" will include a bookkeeping package and an office suite - generally Microsoft. Graphics and/or image editing packages such as Corel Draw and PhotoShop are finding their way into many business offices. Even web design packages are making giant roads into the SOHO market. Buying these packages is easy. The hard part comes when you try to use them. They are all supposed to be easy but they just aren't. For the better part of the past decade Inner Office personnel taught business oriented courses at QVC and EastConn. Joy Johnson designed the very popular "Computerized Bookkeeping using QuickBooks". Unfortunately we are too busy these days to teach in those settings but Inner Office clients can still count on us to provide them with the highest quality individualized training. Our latest offering is the remote access training option. You call us, tell us what you need, and we log on and do it. We can be talking on the phone at the same time plus you get to watch everything we do. Perhaps you'd like to learn how to use Lookup Functions in Excel, create a pivot table. Maybe you're in the process of creating an important proposal in Word for Windows and you need a little help.. You might want to filter your QuickBooks report to isolate certain data. We're just a call and a click away! In addition to using technology, small business owners generally get into business because they're really good at one thing. That's the basis on which the business is built. That one thing is seldom "business" so while needs vary from basics to just being a sounding board, we can add the missing components to your skill set.
